In my eyes, uboi has always been very strong. Even those pricks on his feet for jaundice checks, during the initial weeks of his birth, did not pain him to cry or shed a tear. Neither did he cry in any of his past jabs. He has also fought hard in each of his past 3 hospital admissions.
But for the 1st time today, uboi cried at his jab.
uboi had his MMR & Chicken Pox vaccine this afternoon. 1 jab on each thigh. He outburst as he watched the nurse jabbed into his thigh. As we were still pacfying him, another jab pricked into the other thigh! Wow... His cries were sure ear-piercing! Luckily we managed to distract him and he stopped crying shortly. Phew....
Afternoon nap was suffering for all of us. uboi simply had a tough time falling alsleep. Finally after almost half hour of carrying and rocking (its been almost 6mths since I last did that) he closed his eyes. But ... but ... but ... he cried in his sleep! Stopped awhile after we patted him, then cried again. This continued for almost an hour.
We thought he was traumatised but turned out... he just did not want to sleep.
Faint!!! So down the bed, off he went to his toys.
Measurement as at today (15mths 11days) :
Weight : 10.8kg
Height : 80cm
~I was so surprised that MMR jab was only S$10!
Wonder if the cashier had charged wrongly....nevertheless I've Paid & its Over :)

u took at polyclinics? at cheap eh $10.. i took at PD, oso MMR + Chkn pox (45 + 88)
Rayden oso cried when 1 followed by another was jabbed onto his buttocks..
but we all pacified him, cries for a while nia..
seem like this jab is painful eh, everyone cried. :(

i've also had the same question.. did u go polyclinic for your son's MMR jab?? cos i remembered when my elder dd had her jab at the PD not so cheap leh..
Nope. I took in KKH Children's Private Clinic. I oso v surprised! If its undercharged then its to my benefits... LOL
I think it's because all our bb have grown up and understand what pain means. Shannen also cried super like for MMR. Unlike those jab she took before when she made no sound to them
